FEATURES AND PAST PROJECTS

Manuel "Manny" Posadas graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Arts degree Major in Economics, and having studied there since his grade school. After graduation, he worked as an Analyst in the Credit and Investment Research Department at Far East Bank and Trust Company, Intramuros, Manila. Not the banker, he moved to Philippine government service and worked for the Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB) Office of the President of the Philippines as PMS (Presidential Management Staff, Malacañang, Manila). After 2 years with POCB, he was assigned to work from 1980-1985 as a Construction Attaché (Foreign Service Officer III) in Philippine Embassy Commercial Section, Kingdom of  Saudi Arabia. While there, he met his wife Janet who was then a flight crew of Saudi Airlines, and got married in 1985. In 1986, Manny moved to New York and he called it his "new home". In 1987, he established the first Pinoy Agency called First Resources Employment Agency, which has been in existence up to this time in 2019 (now 32 years). In 1990-1997, as part of the Philippine government program to promote the Balikbayan shopping, Duty Free Philippines appointed Manny as their East Coast Balikbayan representative to promote the Program to the Pinoy community in the Tri-State area. And as a service to his alma mater,  Manny became President of the Ateneo Alumni Association, NY.  In 2014, he established Manny's Online Xpress Air Cargo, the first Pinoy online cargo company. As a family man that he is,  Manny's and his wife Janet's 3 kids, are also a product of Jesuit education, having graduated from Boston College in Massachusetts. Not only has his 2 companies worked out well, they also contribute in helping our kababayans find work and help them with sending the fruits-of-labor to their home country in the Philippines.
